Logistic Controller

We are looking for Senior Accountant to join our Finance & Administration team in Italy.

What you will do


Supporting integrated supply chain Controlling function, business partnering with Central Logistic Organization, in charge of developing and deploying a new set of tools for financial analyses on primary and secondary logistic performance, capable to bring the organization to the next level in terms of data visibility and capability to drive business decisions.


The position encompasses high level of exposure at top management level, requires strong analytical skills, capability to read the external environment and capability to influence while being a strong and reliable business partner driving actions and supporting the strategy.


Main activities:

  • Develop in cooperation with Consultants New set of tools for logistic costs finance analyses.
  • Drive process improvement on Logistic Area in cooperation with Central Logistic team.
  • Guarantee the right representation of Logistic cost inside the product cost for new products and existing range.
  • Cooperate with Markets, Product Lines and central team in the identification of areas of improvement and productivity actions.
  • Guarantee the right level of visibility to the corporation about Logistic performance.
  • Support Controlling and Reporting activities; provide visibility of performances on primary and secondary logistic costs to the Logistic team and broader organization.
  • Month End Closure (MEC)

Reporting Process:
Logistic variances

  • Monthly forecast
  • Coordinate Budget process and Logistic Standard costs calculation
  • Drive visibility on business opportunities through oneoff analyses and business cases
  • Enable the tracking of business performance versus Target;
  • Enable C-SOX requirements adherence and full compliance to group policies.
  • Develop clear guidelines and internal policies capable to drive standardization of tools and processes.
  • Providing cross functional support and guidance to Group integrated supply chain controller
  • Participation in regular meetings within the scope of supporting logistic transformation.
  • Participate in cross functional meetings with the aim to support the finance transformation journey.
What you need to succeed

  • Good knowledge of accounting and strong 360 degrees understanding of procurement, logistic and manufacturing operations
  • Good knowledge of internal control setup;
  • Ability to simplify complex processes and drive implementation.
  • Strong leadership skills to drive execution.
  • Strong resilience, ability to challenge status quo, initiate and drive continuous change, and a spirit of evolution
  • University degree in Economics, Engineering management
  • Integrated Supply Chain controlling experience +4/7 years, international profile
Strong functional independence in the way of working and ability to partner with its stakeholders

  • Good knowledge of excel, SAP, HFM (preferred), Data warehousing, Oracle EPM suite);
  • Management Experience in a Multinational Environment (strongly recommended);
  • Management Experience in Manufacturing Environment (preferred)
  • Good interpersonal and networking skills, both within the finance community and the Function of reference, as well as with other members of the broader team;
  • Ability to operate in a matrix organization;
  • Results focused, solutionoriented with a proactive and positive approach;
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills;
  • Willingness for evolution within an international finance community
