Contract Officer M/F Ref. legal01

Main Responsibilities:

Administer public procurement and grant procedures based mainly on the Italian Space Agency's and the European Space Agency's Procurement Rules, which entails, inter alia:
Advise and support project officers on the launch and administration of the procedures;
Ensure compliance of the procedures;
Manage ad hoc contracting activities, which entails, inter alia:
Negotiate and draft contracts to be let by to implement projects and programmes in the context of Ad Hoc activities;
Provide support to the operational units in charge of such Ad Hoc activities ensuring adequate implementation of the contractual provisions;
Provide contractual guidance;
Take on additional tasks as required in the interest of the service.
Duties may evolve according to development of the company's structure and activities, and the decisions of the contract & legal department.

Hard Skills:

Abitiliy to negotiate in Italian and English and professional knowledge of negotiation skills;
Familiarity with Microsoft office;
Ability to draft contracts/orders and agreements in Italian and English;
Ability to manage Multiple tasks;
Good understanding of all main purchasing areas: negotiations,evalutaion and developement of suppliers, suppliers quality and logistics;

Soft Skills:

Target and result oriented;
Excellent communication skills;
Team player;
Ability to work under pressure.

Qualification:

Degree in Law or Political Sciences.

Seniority Level:

- at least 3 years of experience in international procurement and sourcing.
