Position Summary:

We're looking for a
Material Planning & Logistic Manager in
Reggio Emilia Location.

Main opportunities and challenges:

The resource will be inserted in a dynamic contest in witch there is a strong focus on continuous improvement and innovation.

Mentor talents to let them express their potential to support the business

Main Responsibilities:

Planning and management of inbound and outbound flows throughout the production cycle;
Overseeing and optimization of production planning process (from demand planning to the shipping)
Definition of best procurement policy (consignment stock, Kanban, call off) finding right trade off between value of stock (DOH) and customer KPI (OTD and Short Lead time to market)
Definition of stock reduction policies in order to improve rotation index;
Lead and monitoring KPI of all logistics processes, in order to reduce costs, increase efficiency according management goals and target;
Lead and coordination of logistics processes continuous improvement according Dana Operation System;
Management of yearly inventory count;
Responsibility of stock accuracy.
Use reports and metrics which analyze opportunities for savings and improvements, shipment frequencies & issues, claims issues and customer/supplier routing efficiencies
Resolve any arising problems or customer complaints reated to logist activities

Job Position Requirements:

Education:
University bachelor degree - Management Engineering

Professional background

Hard skills

Essential:
SAP MM/WM

Office Application

English Level, B2

Considered as a plus:
WCM system knoledge, Logistics Cost Deployment
