Sales / Business Development Manager (EXPORT)

The Role
We are looking for an experienced
International Sales Leader & Business Development Executive.


Reporting to the Head of Sales / Commercial, you will be responsible for supporting & developing existing customers, managing our key distributors, coordinating and supporting the inside sales team as well as identifying and developing new business globally.


Based at head office in Milan, ideally you will have a technical sales / business development background, experience in the Chemical Industry and possibly some knowledge of the colour (pigments / dispersions) or Ink industry although not essential.

The role is a mix of office based and travel to relevant core customers.


Responsibilities

Business Development (Focus overseas)

  • Support core distributors & agents pushing business development.
  • Prospect and qualify leads to develop into business.
  • Build, manage and develop key relationships with decision makers.
  • Generate realistic sales pipeline and manage tracking / reporting.
  • Attend industry events / trade shows.

Sales / Management

  • Maintain and develop relationships with key direct customers.
  • Direct, support and guide the internal Sales & Customer Services team.
  • Identify new opportunities or areas to add value for existing direct customers.
  • Respond to inquiries, organize samples, technical information and quotations.
  • Maintain quotation tracking system

Requirements:


  • Previous experience in
    technical sales / business development.
  • Knowledge of any of the following industries Chemical / Ink / Packaging etc.


  • Language skills

  • Italian with high degree of
    English:
  • Strong negotiating / persuasion and relationship management skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, drive and enthusiasm, Results orientated
  • Strong IT Skills (Microsoft (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)
  • Ability to plan and organize travel as required to customers / events.
  • A Degree (or equivalent) in Business or technical related discipline would be ideal
  • Ability to organise and prioritise work to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work well on own initiative and as part of a team.

Salary:


  • GAS up to 60k no bonus
