Vehicle Certification Specialist (Maranello)

In order to strengthen our engineering team we are looking to hire a Vehicle Certification Specialist, based in Maranello (Italy).

In this position, you will be responsible for managing and monitoring all preparatory activities for the certification and Type-Approval of Ferrari models for their sale in the markets of interest.

You will work inside the development team of one or more projects as key figure for the Certification activities.

As part of the team, you will manage the Vehicle Certification & Type Approval process, analyze and monitor the regulatory performances of the vehicle during the development phase of the project, in order to achieve the milestones required by the certification process.

You will identify, arrange and conduct testing to satify regulatory and functional requirements according to schedule.

You will monitor the Legislation, Directives and Regulations changes concerning vehicles Type Approval and their impacts on the certification process.

In the position you will interact with internal R&D Departments and external agencies to secure the Certification process.

Required profile

In order to succeed in this challenging role, you will ideally have achieved excellent academic results with a Master-degree in Engineering.

And you will have gained at least 2 years' dedicated experience in R&D, Program Management, Testing or Quality activities.

In Ferrari you must exhibit the capability to work in a highly-dynamic and fast-changing environment, thinking analytically, including attention to details and critical thinking ability.

It is important to be proactive proposing solutions to mitigate risks during certification analysis and processes.

Since you will interact with different departments at all levels within and outside the company, excellent interpersonal skills and verbal and written communciation skills are a must-have.

Fluent English is required for the position and Italian language skills are an advantage. We appreciate individuals with experience outside their country of origin, allowing for a multicultural mindset.
