Position Summary:

Duties:

Carries out assigned projects, laboratory work, and data analysis under the direction of a supervisor
Operates and maintains laboratory equipment
Works under supervision with direct instructions
Carries out routine and semiroutine tasks independently
Understands and complies with accepted laboratory and safety procedures
Demonstrates excellent laboratory technique
Assists in writing test plans and reports

Education Degree:

Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry
Required Experience:12 years of related laboratory experience

Competencies:

Demonstrated experience working successfully in a team environment.
Maintains a level of technical knowledge consistent with current scientific literature and best practices.
Assure efficient laboratory operation through acquisition and inventory control of consumables lab supplies.
Complies with established protocols and within regulatory and laboratory requirements.
Understands and complies with accepted laboratory and safety procedures

Demonstrates good writing skills for: SOPs and their revisions, Test plans/protocols, Laboratory reports, OOS reports.
Maintains a laboratory notebook and documents laboratory data accurately and timely
Demonstrates oral communication skills
