Posizione:

We are looking for a
Functional Project Manager who will be the central driver and expert for a function from project start to EOP in the company, that will be working with
Audi / VW. He will be responsible for the definition, conception, specification, implementation, testing and release of a function (end-to-end) including parameterization.

He controls the necessary developers via his functional team.

Tasks

Overarching tasks:
› Creation of the functional concept as well as proof of concept maturity and transfer to series development;
› Ensuring project approval including business case over the entire product life cycle (function on demand, SWaP,) on the basis of function deployment planning in vehicle projects (product roadmap) via project management;
› Coordination of functional content with platform developers/users or Module developers/users in the Group and definition of the Group module strategy Vehicle-specific tasks;
› Preparation of the functional specifications including requirements of the group users as well as time and content planning as well as monitoring of the function implementation;
› Coordination of property and function requirements with relevant property managers;
› Ensuring compliance with non-functional requirements (e.g. laws, open source SW, approval, type testing, security, data protection, product safety, etc.) with the responsible departments;
› Formulation of requirements for involved components, parts and functions;
› Ensuring that function is taken into account in the overall functional vehicle architecture;
› Control of the creation and implementation of functional architecture, safety analyses (FuSi) and test concepts;
› Creation and maintenance of the function schedule including planning of features, key components and releases;
› Agreement on the maturity of the required components in terms of schedule and content and control of the integration of the function into the overall function network as well as the test execution via the test manager;
› Continuous maturity report incl. updating of maturity level planning (ISM) and communication of usage restrictions;
› Control of the timely achievement of a release-ready functional maturity;
› Granting and communication of function releases, if necessary with indication of usage restrictions, up to the end customer release;
› Control of function parameterization and ensuring the achievement of property specifications;
› Implementation of lessons learned and ensuring the implementation of the derived measures (product and process side);
› Implementation of functional team rounds to coordinate development content and activities with all persons involved in the development (if necessary with the involvement of IT service managers/VS service owners);
› If necessary, interdisciplinary technical clarifications and escalation to the responsible SE.

Requisiti:

› Establish and lead the cross-divisional functional team and to provide technical guidance for it:
› Inspect the functionally relevant technical solutions in terms of time and content;
› Define requirements and demand implementation;
› Decide between technical implementation, modification and troubleshooting alternatives;
› Obtain sub-releases;
› Run the escalation management in accordance with the agreed committee landscape;
› Carry on the inspection and veto right with regard to vehicle requirements planning for the function in cooperation with the vehicle project managers;
› Cooperate and have a say in resource planning for the function in cooperation with the vehicle project managers.

› Result responsibility for concept description, TPB, TSB (for connect scopes), functional specifications, function schedule;
› Result responsibility for maturity planning in ISM (hardware, software, parameters, key components);
› Provision of functional information for vehicle construction and workshops;
› Communication of usage restrictions;
› Granting of development-accompanying interim releases of the function (if applicable) and the final function release (recommendation).
