Role Description

We are in search of a Quality Control professional who will be an integral part of the comprehensive health, safety, environment, and quality team at newcleo.

The Quality Control specialist will primarily oversee production processes and ensure the compliance of products from newcleo suppliers. This includes monitoring installation, assembly, testing, and commissioning procedures at both National and International Construction Sites, as well as assessing the services offered by newcleo installers and assemblers.

The selected candidate will engage with various stakeholders such as newcleo Engineering Units, Suppliers, Subcontractors, Customers, and Regulatory Authorities.

Reporting directly to the QHSE Director, the individual will also collaborate with peers across different newcleo branches to establish consistent operational practices, exchange expertise, and offer direct assistance as needed.


Main Activities

  • Assess the production process for readiness before the initiation of manufacturing operations.
  • Review testing techniques and inspection findings.
  • Record the outcomes of qualification and inspection tasks in a dedicated report.
  • Validate the Inspection Test Plan (ITP) and introduce inspection points during critical phases.
  • Conduct inspections, tests, and trials following documented procedures or international standards and codes.
  • Monitor supplier non-conformities, evaluate proposed solutions, and oversee the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Maintain effective communication with all involved parties throughout the activities.

Desired Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Proficiency in Italian and English languages. Knowledge of French is a bonus.
  • Familiarity with RCC-E Code.
  • Understanding of EN/IEEE Regulations.
  • Knowledge of materials and their properties.
  • Proficiency in Electric Machines, Transformers, MT/LT Power Panels, Insulation Tests, and Control Panel Logic testing.
  • Understanding of Quality Management Systems components.
  • Capability to work effectively within diverse teams and autonomously to achieve set objectives.
