The Position

ROOMS DIVISION MANAGER

Main purpose:

The Rooms Division Manager is responsible for Front Office and Housekeeping. He/She is
one of our Ambassadors of Excellence: quality and Guest care will be his/her main focus.

You will be responsible for the operations, strategies and development of Rooms Division Department, ensuring the highest standards of service.

You will support and coordinate the department Managers in order to achieve the relevant key performance indicators of the property.


Reports to:
Resort Manager.


Main duties & responsibilities:


  • Responsible for Room Division (Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance and Concierge departments) effective management and Guest service delivery of the Resort and the Private Villas.
He/she will be the role model of Rocco Forte Hotels service style:
great attention to personalisation of Guest service and interaction and exquisite knowledge of the location.

  • Responsible for selection and development of direct reports, monitoring performance and providing feedback; responsible for support direct reports in team selection, management and development.
  • Responsible for leading the division in order to reach financial, quality and people objectives. Cooperation with Reservations to maximise occupancy and room revenue. Development of profit improvement ideas.
  • Assist the Resort Manager in order to assure compliance with health and safety regulations in the Room Division.
  • Responsible for suggesting inputs for room division, organization, budgeting and forecasting.
