Ownership

  • The Purpose:
Build and maintain relationships with our account managers and supply chain counterparts at our customers. Define and monitor KPI and service level at our customers and propose solutions to Sales for the Logistics topics. Identify opportunities to improve service level and to optimize our logistics costs. Lead and manage logistics projects focused on process improvement.

  • The role:
  • Management and implementation of projects in the logistics area in cooperation with the Business unit and Zone teams in order to optimize our Italy operations and standardize with other European countries.
  • Focus on Champions projects (be the project manager for optimization of VLC). Liaise with operational teams involved and deliver cost effective initiatives to improve operations efficiency.
  • Work with current pallet mgmt. partner to find new ways of collaboration; Work with breweries on projects that include revision of palletization schemes
  • Followup on PM routines as well as CTS (cost to serve) initiatives to deliver logistics savings
  • Monitor KPIs (service level and potential other agreements) involving our customers and lead monthly routine in alignment of sales and operations
  • Gather and analyze KPIs on customer level to understand current service and efficiency levels as well as KPI evolution
  • Trigger and follow up improvement actions & service initiatives
  • Align with CX, Supply Chain, Logistics Execution and Sales (KAMs) to identify improvement opportunities, i.e. profitable initiatives or agreements to be targeted at with specific customer (e.g. order frequency, collaborative planning, VMI, EDI etc.) allowing for segment service standards
  • Conduct Customer Meetings with selected customers to discuss and agree on Service Plan (current collaboration, service performance and potential improvement opportunities)

Who we're looking for:

  • Degree in Economics or Engineering and 13 years in a similar role in a FMCG company
  • Good knowledge in Sales department and in Logistics and Supply chain
  • Proven analytical mindset and experience
  • Project Management experience
  • SAP-R3

ERP:
Expert user is a plus

  • Microsoft Office Excel and

Power Point:
Expert user

  • Capability to work in a multinational environment
  • Professional knowledge of Italian & English (written and verbal)
  • Travel within Italy and abroad depending on business needs
