_PASTRY CHEF_
Job Summary
Reporting to the Executive Chef, Pastry Chef hold a leadership position within the Pastry department and will be responsible for supervising the day to day running of the Pastry team.
This is a hands-on role involved in all areas of preparation and service, mentoring a passionate culinary team, and ensuring our guests receive the highest levels of service excellence consistently.
Specifically, Pastry Chef will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:Responsibilities
- Professional training and experience in the production of desserts, cakes and pastries
- Highest quality awareness
- Independent and team working style
- Passion & lifeblood for the profession and attention to detail
- High personal commitment, friendly nature, handson mentality, ability to work under pressure
- Highquality preparation in the inhouse patisserie of cakes, desserts and sweets using fresh products of the highest quality
- Presentation and arrangement of the dishes according to our Guest's specifications
- Coordination of the preparation work and joint responsibility for a smooth organization and work flow in the patisserie
- Compliance with delivery times, quality standards and hygiene guidelines

To successfully fill this role, Pastry Chef should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

- Ability multitask and meet deadlines
- Strong supervisory skills
- According to the Property guidelines, a creative approach to the production of desserts, cakes and pastries
- Positive attitude

- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work on own or in teams
- Previous experience in the role
- almost 5 years
- in fine dining and/or luxury restaurants
- Passion for producing high quality desserts, cakes and pastries
- Knowledge of current patisserie trends
- Proficiency with computers and computer programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
