Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 9 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.


The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).


Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.


Position:


The infrastructure monitoring functional area is responsible for monitoring the development of the permanent infrastructure for all competition and main non-competition venues for the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games.


Infrastructure is looking for a Scheduler to play a key role in developing the programming and scheduling for all permanent works timelines and integration with temporary overlay requirements, for both competition and non-competition venues.


This position is an integral part of the infrastructure functional area and will support the whole team on reports development and risks & issues identification with a fundamental relationship with internal and external stakeholders.


In particular, he/she will:

  • Interface with OCOG's key functional areas and delivery partners, ensuring the timely integration of multiple stakeholder programs and schedules for the successful delivery and dissolution for all venues;
  • Provide regular communication to key stakeholders regarding progress updates, risks & issues, including mitigation strategies;
  • Produce regular reports of the progress in the delivery of permanent works;
  • Share ideas and information with the team and contribute to the team environment;
  • Be aware and comply with the Corporation's health and safety policies, standards practices and program;
  • Be available for travelling to Milano Cortina 2026 venues;
  • Capability of managing projects, programs, and delivery on time;
  • Integration of multiple stakeholders needs and specifications.

Requirements:


  • Qualification in Engineering, Architecture;
  • 3/4 years minimum experience in following permanent infrastructure delivery;
  • ITexperienced, professional use of MS Project software, knowledge of Smartsheet and usual MS Office softwares;
  • Excellent language skills in English, knowledge of other languages is an advantage;
  • Knowledge of permanent public/private infrastructures;
  • Understanding of all phases of permanent infrastructure, from planning, approval phase, procurement, until delivery and commissioning.
  • Good coordination with common sense and able to make priorities.
