JOB SCOPE AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:


A strategic role that will be influential in shaping consumer perceptions of optical and sun category and retailers, orchestrating the next chapter of the eyewear category evolution.

The PR manager leads the development, implementation, and integration of strategic italian PR plans that cultivate our relationships with italian media and engage our target audience to boost brand awareness and drive commercial success.


This role will have the overall goal of maximise brand presence on various channels (e.g., web, TV and social media) on the Italian market, ensuring brand content is consistent, well timed, and newsworthy.


The PR manager will also play the role of broadening awareness of these strategies and increase visibility of PR programs and priorities within the organisation and to key stakeholders, while working closely with cross-functional leaders to maintain a high-level of collaboration and alignment on all consumer communications.


AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES

  • PR Strategy development develop italian PR plans alongside crossfunctional teams.
  • Brand storytelling formulate brand stories to refine the core messages and brand narrative.
  • Influencer/Celebrity strategy drive and develop the brands italian influencer and celebrity network of brand advocates.
  • Goal Setting set objectives for the PR team aligned to key brand priorities and monitor team performance.
  • Brand visibility maximise brand presence on various channels (e.g. web, print, TV, social media and new media) to maintain the brands cultural relevance.
  • Brand Partnerships cultivate and maintain relationships with brand and agency partners.
  • Asset development oversee the creation of press releases and PR related materials.
  • Brand Voice ensure brand consistency in all PR efforts.
  • PR Activations develop PR activations to increase awareness of the brand.
  • Reporting report on PR campaign results.
  • Crisis management manage sensitive issues to maintain company's good reputation.

Corporate PR, Social, Communications, Brand, Retail Team, Product Teams.

PR Agencies, Regional PR Teams, Media Partners, Influencers, Celebrities and Brand Partners.


TECHNICAL SKILLS - PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE:

  • Communication strategy proven experience developing successful 360' communication campaigns in the Italian market
  • Media relations strategy proven experience developing successful media relations campaigns.
  • Influencer marketing experience in developing highlyeffective influencer marketing programs and campaigns.
  • Digital and social media expertise in different social networks, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and Twitter.
  • Communication skills strong speaking and writing skills in English are essential.
  • Project management simultaneously manage multiple publicity projects with tight deadlines.
  • Interpersonal skills create and maintain relationships with people.
  • Multitasking ability ability to work on multi projects in a fastpaced environment with tight deadlines, speed, flexibility, and adaptability under pressure.
  • Organizational skills highly organised to drive the projects and initiatives to completion.
