Be part of integrated Navigation Engineering team colocated in Rome working in G2G satellite, Lunar and LEO PNT opportunities in close cooperation with engineering community
Modelling, analyze, characterize the Navigation Analysis and simulations for the next generation GNSS
EndtoEnd Navigation satellite modelling and simulation, including implementation of the specific architecture
Define and implement algorithm and tools for Navigation performance analysis; acquire knowledge, operating, maintaining of the current tools in the company
Define, plan, conduct simulation campaigns to evaluate endtoend Navigation Payload Performances, support tradeoffs and Signal-InSpace evolutions; interpreter and analyze results
Support the predevelopments activities related in the areas of Navigation Payload, Signal and Performance
Support development and procurement phase of Navigation Payload equipment and contribute to Payload budgets
Contribute to internal and R&D activities for the design, modelling, architectural tradeoff and performance assessment of advanced Navigation payloads;
Contribute to the development/usage of section related laboratory facilities and analysis/simulation tools;
Acting as technical interface with the Customer, including coordination of the Navigation Engineering Team, as needed; presentation of the achieved results in technical meetings in front of national and international stakeholders (industrial entities, customer, conferences);

Skills & Experience

PhD /University Master degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent;
Proven experience in the signal processing, modelling, analyses and simulations;
Very good attitude in team working and cooperation with the other team members;
Good Knowledge of Navigation satellite systems, including good background of Radio Frequency payloads measurements instruments for space systems;
Very good knowledge of software, simulation tools and programming (Matlab/Simulink, C/C++, Python) including Architectural Framework Tools (Melody, Modaf,..) ;
Teamworking, problem solving;
Fluency in English is mandatory;
Italian languages is desirable;
EC nationality
Applicants must have work experience on classified activities and must be eligible for security clearance by their national security administration.
