Human Technopole (HT) is a new interdisciplinary life science research institute, created and supported by the Italian Government, with the aim of developing innovative strategies to improve human health.
HT is composed of five Centers:
Computational Biology, Structural Biology, Genomics, Neurogenomics and Health Data Science.
The Centers work together to enable interdisciplinary research and to create an open, collaborative environment that will help promote life science research both nationally and internationally.
The Human Technopole Foundation is looking for aJunior HSE Analyst. The new colleague will be hired with an
Apprenticeship contract according to the Italian legislation (art 44, D.lgs. n. 81/2015).
The Junior HSE Analyst, reporting to the Site Health and Safety Manager - CSE within the HSE Area, will provide technical and administrative support to the HSE Area of the Foundation.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
- Perform dataentry and prepare documentation.
- Manage and distribute HSE documents.
- Ensure that reports required by the Site Health and Safety Manager
- CSE are prepared in a timely manner and review reports' accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure HSE's database filing system is maintained and up to date.
- Assist in preparatory work in HSE when the Foundation hire's new workers.
- Distribute new directives/information to workers.
- Collect reports from workers and their representatives.
- Assist HSE Area staff in preparing procedures and guidelines.
- Assist the Employer in the risk assessment for all the activities of the Foundation, focusing on biosafety and the safety of pregnant workers.
- Assist the Foundation's physician in the scheduling the health surveillance of workers.
- Update and process documents as needed.
- Ensure all safety training records are completed and stored correctly.
- Maintain relations with authorities (communications, transmission of documents, etc.)
- Maintain positive and proactive relations with all levels of the organization.
Mandatory requirements:
- Degree in Biosafety or Applied Pharmaceutical Sciences;
- Fluency in English
- HT is an international research institute.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Preferential requirements:
- Previous experience in the HSE area of a research institute.
- Proven knowledge in biosafety and pregnant workers legislation.
- Working knowledge of Health & Safety platforms.
