RESERVATIONS AND EVENT SPECIALIST - ANANTARA CONVENTO DI AMALFI GRAND HOTEL:

As Reservations Officer you will directly support the Reservation Manager in driving the performance of the reservations team on property.

You will ensure that all SOP's are being adhered to.


You will further assist in maintaining and improving reservations operations to ensure a high degree of accuracy in guest reservations, maximizing revenue opportunities and satisfaction of guests and team members.

You will ensure monitoring of daily arrivals for all guest requests to be carried out and communicated to.

You will be working on inventory management, including allotments, groups blocks and rate codes in all applicable systems.

Further you will assist the Revenue Manager for driving up
- selling within the property and to ensure optimal use of all distribution channels, e.g. IBE, GDS, Tour Operators, Small Luxury Hotels, Regional and Corporate Sales Offices.

In addition, it will have the task of supporting in the management of events to our Reservation manager, specifically the tasks will be:
Manage group and event bookings

Manage the relationship with the guest from the moment of the event confirmation until the collection of feedback post - event;
Support the Reservation and event manager in site inspections;
Contribute to the success of the events within the structure, ensuring the full satisfaction and well-being of guests with a view to ensuring excellent service in line with their personal and professional needs;
Oversee the administrative activity related to the realization of the event, including its billing;
Organizing the logistics of the event, coordinating all the departments involved (Front Office, F&B etc...).

Taking care of internal digital communication


Qualifications:

Have had experience in the role sought

Familiar with the hotel operations available technology and all distribution channels.

Understand the dynamics of regional & local market, local competitors and events of the destination.

Residence/domicile in Amalfi or nearby will considered a plus.
