As part of the Supply Chain & Finance Team, the Manufacturing Procurement Associate will coordinate/leverage the relationships and business with suppliers of materials and services and ensure their availability to meet the Business Plan objectives.

He/She will analyze the data and propose different strategies for reaching the department/site's targets. He/She may lead local/regional/global projects or categories and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) processes.


Main responsibilities:


Coordinate/leverage the relationships and business with suppliers of materials and services for the assigned type of acquisition (Manufacturing Group Codes).

Negotiate and make decision with suppliers within his/her area within guidelines and policies (e

g:
within own ATC).
Approve PO in the system according to the ATC.

Coordinates the process of contract stipulation, according to the company rules; keeps informed the Legal department during all the process.

Conducts analyses, proposes improvement ideas within own team and category/responsibility.
Supports the team in articulating sourcing and business information so to drive decisions and results.
Is able and support the risk assessment and propose and/or drive the appropriate BCP.
May lead SRM processes with strategic and\or critical vendors.
Provide support/suggestions to the business for the implementation of sourcing savings.
Contribute to problem analysis and solutions development for issues.
Respond to the customer requirements and handles standard and non standard requests.
May lead projects/programs or continuous improvement activities.


Basic Requirements:

Master's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or other similar studies
Excellent knowledge of English
Proficiency in SAP/Power BI tool will be a plus
Passionate for IT - Proficiency in Advanced Excel
Ability to lead projects or programs
Ability to work with mínimal or no guidance direction
Ability to maintain control under stress
Ability to identify and influence stakeholders
Good communication skills with vendors, with peers and middle management at local, regional or global level
Problem solving skills

Additional Preferences
APICS CPIM Certification;
Procurement or Planning Experience;
Six sigma Green or Black Belt certification;
Past experience in other pharmaceutical companies;
