Mission:
Our company is looking for a Compliance Officer (Associate) to guarantee that our business processes and transactions follow all relevant legal and internal guidelines.
In a context of a broad range of service and products within the Corporate and Investment Banking sector, your duties will include reviewing the relevant documentation to ensure compliance with MiFID II / PRIIPS, data protection (GDPR) and payment services (PSD2) assisting in: running controls and provide advisory, keeping orderly audit trail of the activities, analysis of the applicable regulation and developing company policies and/or procedures, preparing the supporting documentation for meetings and committees, escalating violations.
To prosper in this role, you should have high ethical standard and be fluent in control activities, being also able to provide advisory with high added-value content on compliance matters.
In the context of the given organization, you are required to be a strong team player while also preserving confidentiality.
You will need to be able to navigate through the covered matters and be proficient to cope with administrative tasks on top of the advisory activities in a flexible manner.
You will work in a team dedicated to cope with a variety of topics such as client's protection, fighting against corruption, conduct and ethics, preventing tax evasion, market integrity, data protection and contacts will not miss with teams specialized in financial security - this may create your daily activity interesting, changing increasing your knowledge on the job.

Tasks and responsibilities:
- Review business documentation inherent to investment services/products and provide advisory on compliance matters
- Assist in developing and reviewing company policies and procedures
- Implement action plans in response to audit discoveries and compliance violations
- Assess company activities to determine compliance risk
- Assist in regulatory watch and in training activities
Profile required:
Studies & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in law, finance, business management or a related field
- At least 5 years proven experience in a control function on at least MiFID II / PRIIPS or payment services (PSD2) or data protection (GDPR)
Language skills:
- Written and verbal language proficiency and communication skills in both Italian (native level required) and English
- French would be nice to have
Technical, operational & Soft skills:
- Strong knowledge of banking and financial environment (business skills, operational risks, controls)
- Flexibility and capacity to match tight deadlines and to work under huge pressure
- Highlyanalytical approach with strong attention to detail
- Solid oral and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with multicultural teams
- Dealing with administrative tasks, with precision and diligence
- Irreproachable ethical behavior
