CASHIER - ZEGNA MONTENAPOLEONE


As a cashier you will process all POS transactions accurately and efficiently and collect and update client details in accordance with established Company policies and procedures, whilst providing an outstanding level of luxury customer service.

You will ensure accurate reconciliation of daily cash and card takings with the Retail Information System (RIS) database, and carry out cash banking processes for the boutique.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receives and processes client cash and credit card payments according to Company guidelines.
  • Performs all transactions in the Zegna RIS (Retail Information System) including sales, refunds and returns, MadetoMeasure (MTM) deposits and balance payments, and Gift cards; to ensure the accurate updating of customer, vendita and stock records.
  • Performs tax refunds
  • Performs cash desk daily closing procedure as per Company guidelines, and ensures accurate reconciliation of RIS with cash/card takings.
  • Provides daily/weekly/monthly sales reports to Store Manager/Accounts Dept/Retail Logistics Team, as requested.
  • Collects and registers customer personal information on the RIS Customer Database, updating existing client records where necessary to ensure customer database completeness.
  • Performs interCompany and B2B sale transactions in the RIS; issues invoices with correct taxable values.
  • Advises on CITES enquiries and processes CITES sales to ensure correct documentation
  • Performs cardnotpresent sales, ensuring strict adherence to Company and Card Processor guidelines and procedures.
  • Controls and reconciles boutique petty cash float.
  • Monitors stock for cash desk stationary and places replenishment orders as required, and under the supervision of the Store Management.
  • Ensures that PDQ payment terminals are in correct working order; requesting assistance from IT department and external cardprocessing provider as necessary.
  • Performs daily cash banking and deposit procedures
  • Supports the resolution of card transaction disputes; provides documentary evidence and liaises with cardprocessing provider as required.
  • Manages transactions in foreign currency, ensuring accurate reconciliation of gain/loss on exchange values.
