Position


Head of Quality Management


As a Head of Quality Management you will participate and actively contribute to ambitious growth targets of NHOA Energy in designing, crafting and delivery to our Clients world class Energy Storage Systems and after sales services in several countries and geographies.


Task and duties

  • Overall accountability and responsibility for quality activities across the business including the design, development and implementation of projects quality management programs.;
  • Lead the team to monitor the product quality and compliance activities to ensure current regulatory expectations are met;
  • Accountable for ensuring that equipment, components, and products produced by NHOA or delivered from a supplier are in compliance with manufacturing specifications, NHOA's technical specification and applicable customer standard;
  • Accountable for ensuring construction quality at Site;
  • Create and implement best practice quality vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve business performance;
  • Ensure that quality strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of price, quality and delivery targets and which enables the company to function and compete effectively in the market and in a sustained manner;
  • Ensuring consistent and effective implementation of Quality supporting systems across their organisation (eg NCR, Progressive learning etc )
  • Establish quality and reliability standards by studying industry benchmarks and the requirements of customers and research/design and development, and define the metrics required to assess performance against standards required;
  • Safe and efficient implementation of quality management methods to meet project goals and overall objectives;
  • Implement good quality methods/system to timely completion of work managing all quality resources and work closely with all EPC contractors;
  • Support detailed engineering works related to quality matters and procurement works related to materials/ package fabrication inspections and shall actively involve in the quality audits for EPC main and major subcontractors;
  • Support quality professionals in the production of quality deliverables in support of overall project or programme implementation;
  • Approve all quality related deliverables in EPC contracts and site managed civil works including ITP, Quality Plan for major equipment and third party inspection;
  • Support project management to cross functional activity required for project execution;
  • Work to prevent nonconformances, customer complaints, concession and rework alongside engineering, manufacturing, supply chain management, industrial operations, construction and commissioning to develop corrective and preventive actions within required timeframe;
  • Implement new quality processes and systems where appropriate;
  • Assist in continuous improvement activities throughout the business ensuring that problems are prevented and that customer requirements are met with any problems resolved effectively and economically;
  • Develop the Quality Management System, updating procedures and train team members where required;
  • Accountable for the compliance of the quality management system with ISO 9001, including continuous development and implementation of the policies, procedures, training, implementation, monitoring and reporting;Ensure effective internal and external audits happen as well as assessment and audit of subcontractors to minimise nonvalue added;
  • Ensure that corrective actions are delivered and noncompliance issues are resolved on time;
  • Actively lead the reduction of cost of quality and inhouse scrap and waste;
  • Report on quality activities on a regular basis to the senior management team, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of the relevant KPI.
