Yara Europe is the largest crop nutrition company in Europe, with more than 3500 employees working across the entire supply chain in over 30 European countries. We offer farmers tailored solutions to meet their needs and to drive sustainable agriculture.

The Yara Europe HR Unit consists of:

  • Organizational Development focusing on regional strategic projects and initiatives
  • HR Operations responsible for the deployment and the enhancement of HR processes and operations
  • HR Business Partnering supporting the organization's leaders in deploying the people agenda needed to support the business objectives.


These three building blocks aim at ensuring that the business is enabled, equipped and supported on the people side in leading their organization forward.


Regional HR Business Partner South Europe is responsible for deploying the Corporate and Regional People Strategy for the South Europe commercial and production organizations as well as for the Health & Safety unit, in close collaboration with the European HR community. In addition, as a strategic partner to the BU Head, he/she is responsible for identifying, designing and/or implementing adequate people initiatives, such as strategic talent resourcing and management, competencies development, conflict resolution, complex ethics & compliance cases, etc.


As part of the BU and/or Function leadership, the Regional HRBP questions, challenges and understands the needs of the business they are supporting and is a key link between the regional business unit and the rest of the HR community, leveraging his/her knowledge of both to support each area in improving their deliveries.

The role is instrumental in building the right organizational culture and works in close cooperation with the Organizational Development and Regional Operations Units to define ad-hoc/standard tools.


Responsibilities:


  • Deploy the Corporate People Strategy thanks to initiatives/actions within the BU/Function he/she supports, in close collaboration with local HR colleagues
  • Be the strategic business partner for BU/Function Lead, and drive the regional people agenda to meet business needs, and provide expertise knowledge for the people related topics. Ensure alignment between Regional and local People agenda's
  • Understand the Business Unit/Function needs and be proactive in identifying people initiatives such as competencies matrix, talent pipeline, strategic workforce planning, organizational design, reorganizations, performance management etc.
  • Identify, design and deliver the people initiatives specific to the BU/Function Business Plans, in close collaboration with the HR colleagues in the different countries
  • Support the employee engagement agenda for the BU/Function in cooperation with BU/Function Head, analyzing results, identifying actions and support the business in delivering the actions
  • Manage and coordinate the Workforce Planning for the BU/Function
  • Manage and drive the talent management and performance management discussions within the BU/Function leadership

Profile:


  • Masters degree within relevant education (Human Resources, Business, etc.) or equivalent by experience
  • Min. of 10 years relevant work experience
  • Good knowledge of Italian labor law
  • Experience with international strategic HR Business Partnering
  • Excellent coaching and stakeholders management skills
  • Ability to translate business insights into people related insights
  • Proven ability to facilitate, persuade, influence, and build credibility with all levels and all functions
  • Proven experience in managing without authority through influencing skills and role modelling
