Italdesign is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Electric Vehicle Systems Team Leader who will be employed in the Electric/Electronic Team based in Moncalieri.

S/He will be responsible for the complete E-Traction & Drive Systems components and functions release at Project Level.


Responsibilities

  • Leading the implementation and integration of E-Traction / Drive Systems and related functions;
  • Coordinating components and functional contents with platform developers/users or module developers/users;
  • Managing the component / functions release process according to the Project milestones;
  • Assuring functions release validation process supporting and managing specific function testing activity;
  • Representing the perimeters of responsibility in internal and external meetings;
  • Project scheduling, management and issue tracking;
  • Interfacing with project stakeholders, involved departments and suppliers;
  • Reporting to management levels as well as to customer;
  • Analyzing and evaluating performance to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for changes;
  • Workteam interaction and collaboration with other departments;
  • Achievement of project's technical objectives relevant to the field of responsibility;
  • Management of "escalation" process related to issues, with a proposed solution.

Requirements:


Key requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in development projects in the Automotive field;
  • At least 3 years of the above experience in Electric Vehicle Systems working in crossfunctional team;
  • Experience on understanding customer requirements;
  • Take on responsibility, work independently being able to share achievements with the team;
  • Ability to organize/motivate a teamwork depending on needs and contingent situations;
  • Problem solving, ability to synthesize information, priority management, proactivity, flexibility, resilience;
  • Intermediation capacity between her/his own team and the other teams involved;
  • Decision making skills combined with an assertive and persuasive leadership style;
  • Selfmotivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks;
  • Ability to anticipate, manage critical situations and provide effective solutions_;_
  • Negotiation skill.

Preferential requirements

  • Functional development experience;
  • Electric Vehicle knowledge with focus on HV Battery and Charging Systems;
  • Good knowledge of OEM Standard processes;
  • Supplier management experience.

Other Informations:


Education:

Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace, Electronic Engineering or equivalent;
Language skills: Fluent knowledge of written and spoken Italian and English are required.


Knowledge of German would be appreciated
