  • Offline analytical methodologies, spectroscopy on organic macromolecules.
  • Fluent in Italian or English
  • MATLAB preferred

What will you do?:


Context:

Exciting opportunity open within our Italian Technical R&D Drug substance Global innovation team


In this role, you will develop your scientific knowledge, you will be part of an innovation-driven group of people with the mission to innovate the Drug substance and drug product process development.


The intern is expected to provide laboratory support to test different Process analytical technologies (PAT) in order to compare raman equipment capability to be used.


Project intern description:

main purpose, activities and expected results:

The intern collaborate with scientific staff to implement, and interpret the data, using scientific data knowledge and experience to influence technical decisions, will have access to technical R&D laboratories and PAT equipment.


The intern will be trained to use Raman, NIR and UV/Vis inline systems and could be trained on the modeling software to develop the chemometric model.


Competencies the intern will develop thanks to the internship experience:

At the end of the internship the intern will be able to use PAT equipment and evaluate its applicability to process monitoring independently and will develop a general understanding of chemometry.
