RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Developing functional documentation for review, design and analysis of processes impacted by the designs/products developed in SHL
  • Communication and relationship with various stakeholders, working closely on defining/understanding requirements and communicating proposed solutions
  • Supporting the standardization of business processes, their simplification and proper communication with end users

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Knowledge of statistics
  • Knowledge of fundamentals in developing Machine Learning models and major clustering, classification and regression algorithms
  • Knowledge of the fundamentals of the software life cycle and related processes: e.g., requirements gathering, analysis, development, testing, deployment
  • Aptitude for producing presentations and documents in both technical and business contexts.
  • Attention to detail and excellent communication skills

NICE TO HAVE:


  • Experience in building business case and cost/benefit evaluation in a project.
  • Basic knowledge of at least one major programming language for data analysis and analytical model development (e.g., Python, R, Matlab)

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:


  • Master's degree in Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics or other quantitative fields with focus on data analysis and interpretation
  • Experience in a corporate environment (including internships), preferably in finance or insurance

SOFT SKILLS:


  • Strong problem solving aptitude
  • Good communication and teamworking skills
  • Strong interest in process innovation
