The purpose of this call is to establish a talent pool (reserve list) that may be used for the recruitment of staff when a position becomes available and will be valid until

Are you a dedicated communication officer with experience in engaging with a large and divers pool of stakeholders and delivering clear and impactful communications to them?


The jobholder will work in the Brussels-based Shared Support Office (SSO) of the EU Agencies Network (EUAN), to which EFSA is one of the most active members. The mission of the Office is to facilitate inter-Agency communication and cooperation on a variety of topics and to serve as a single contact point and key interlocutor of EU institutions and bodies in areas of common interest to Agencies.


Your key responsibilities

  • Coordinate information and internal communication within the EUAN;
  • Enhance interagency communication and collaboration in the field;
  • Manage outward communication via the EUAN website;
  • Develop promotional material for the EUAN;
  • Manage website content and administration;
  • Cater for the look & feel and visual identity of the EUAN;
  • Develop a feasibility plan for EUAN Social Media activity.

General requirements

  • Be national of a Member State of the European Union, Iceland or Norway;
  • Enjoy full rights as a citizen;
  • Have fulfilled any obligations imposed by laws concerning military service;
