What you'll be doing day to day


Together with the Country Replenishment team and under the leadership of the City Customer Fulfilment Manager secure goods availability with high quality at lowest possible cost and always with an everyday safe, sustainable and healthy work environment in mind.

Working closely together with the other stakeholders securing a living capacity plan and an effective, qualitative and efficient goods flow process.

Contribute to a seamless customer experience with an effective and efficient replenishment process.

  • Responsible for securing precision of the operational forecast compared to the actual sales in the market
  • Responsible, as member of the city commercial team, of the implementation of actions connected to commercial calendar, local activities, peak planning and sales steering by being an active partner in the planning process
  • Responsible for having a holistic overview regarding the impact of the different fulfilment flows and effects on store and market parameters taking actions to secure the most optimal settings
  • Responsible for correct parameter setting enabling optimal need planning for the store and the market
  • Responsible for providing information regarding changes in future flows to relevant stakeholders and securing a living capacity plan and an effective, qualitative, and efficient goods flow process
  • Contribute to secure the processes linked to the range allocation process in every PCD collaborating with the Commercial Team Leaders
  • Responsible for planning the stock accuracy management process, analyzing the outcome and addressing stock and discrepancies optimization potentials to relevant stakeholder
  • Contribute to the market business plan and fulfilment action plan, ensuring implementation of the agreed actions
  • Accountable for leading the Sales and Supply Support team and identify, recruit and develop the talents within the team, securing succession planning and performance contributing to an excellent customer experience
  • Contributing to the daily activities of the Customer Fulfilment team at city level

What you'll need to have

  • Previous management experience of leading others with a proven record of successful leadership of people and business
  • Proven analytical skills understanding budget, cost and key performance measurements used to plan, follow up and steer the business and work on plans over several years
  • Proven record of communicating confidently and clearly in English and Italian
  • Experience of working through others, set priorities, delegate responsibility, and give open and honest feedback
  • Proven ability to inspire and engage others and leading in a changing environment
  • Good understanding of key performance measurements used for planning, follow up and steer the business
  • Good knowledge and understanding of store fulfilment and influencing factors
  • Good knowledge of way of working in the area of forecasting, range management, stock accuracy, stock structure and sales steering
  • Good understanding of how the different commercial teams interact and how they together contribute and enable excellent quality in the sales and supply process leading to an excellent customer experience
  • Good knowledge of Supply Chain methods, processes and working methods toward the IKEA store and its business partners
  • Good knowledge of all relevant standard operating procedures and rules and guidelines for Sales and Supply to secure agreed way of working
  • Good knowledge in the area of adapting focus and way of working in accordance to different potential sales scenarios
  • Ability to lead and coach based on performing and delivering while learning and developing
  • Ability to give and take responsibility and empower colleagues to be entrepreneurial
  • Ability to build relationships across the organization, good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage a highvolume and vibrant retail business in a fastchanging multichannel environment and to make things happen with flexibility in collaboration with different stakeholders
  • Ability to analyze and translate business and customer needs into development initiatives and translating a business plan into a tactical plan and operational performance.
