POSITION SCOPE


Reporting to Collections Supervisor, the Account Resolution Credit Specialist position is responsible for maximizing profitability by reducing aging of trade receivables, minimizing bad debt and overall risk exposure while providing quality service to our customers.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Daytoday monitoring and collecting on assigned customer accounts necessary to maintain and/or reduce aging of receivables.
  • Maintain aged receivables at or below company acceptable delinquency rates.
  • Assist with identified disputes and payment exceptions, including timeliness of dispute resolution.
  • Investigate and resolve short payments and deductions made by the customer.
  • Maintain daytoday communications with peers, supervisor, and sales staff regarding receivable issues including but not limited to sales, disputes and collection activity.
  • Work with other departments and/or divisions to maintain open lines of communication and cultivate working relationships that will benefit the customer and company profitability.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

  • Ability to independently utilize Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma is required.
  • Associates Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business is desired or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous experience in business to business (or related) collection experience in a customer service environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft D365 and/or AX preferred.
Pay Range $ $$ $30.87 per hour

The United Malt pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
