Job description:


The Technical Project Manager will drive and report the Engineering design effort (module & cell mechanics, integration, chemistry) to meet product technical requirements, cost, quality, timing and stay aligned with the process technical requirements.

Position based in Termoli (CB) with the first months to be spent in our R&D center in Bordeaux, France.

On its scope of responsibility, the Project Technical Leader is accountable for:

  • Guarantying Engineering deliverables are available on time, with a level of maturity/quality/cost/performance that meets the project's expectations; Leading internal design reviews, contributing to customer reviews from RFQ to after Sales activities.
  • Facilitating Engineering Design inputs/outputs flow across ACC teams (System Engineering, Purchasing, Industrialization, PMO,) to support Engineering deliverables QCDP.
  • Monitoring and reporting the product design Development status at the Engineering and project management levels.
  • Collaborating with the Project Process Engineering Leader to guarantee design meets processability constraints, and process meets design requirements.
  • Contributing to the update of Engineering procedures and regex.
  • Providing Risk management of product development
  • Planning : Level 1 &
  • Engineering : Design freeze, sample & testing requirement, Customer Compliance Matrix (list of requirement) achievement
  • Quality : Internal & External project milestones preparation, leading to on time PPAP achievement
  • Life Cycle Assessment (CO2, sustainability)

Key KPIs:

  • Internal and project design reviews passed before each milestone.
  • No ACCinternal process delayed due to missing or poor design outputs.
  • No miss, no surprise on product design status; escalation done whenever required.
  • All project lessons learned dimensioning the Engineering process are capitalized and shared.
  • Minimizing risk of product development
  • Quality : Achievement vs customer requirement & internal ACC target
  • Cost : Achievement vs RFQ approved cost baseline & internal ACC target
  • Performance : Achievement of Customer technical requirements, with an emphasis on Energy, Fast Charge, durability & Thermal management attributes.
  • Time : ACC & Customer milestones on time delivery
  • CSR + CO2 : achievement of customer target & contribution to ACC CSR road map (kgCO2/kWh)
  • Customer satisfaction

Profile:


Experience (domain, number of years)
Min. 5 years-experience in technical project management, including a direct customer relationship (internal or external) in automotive and/or battery industry.


Qualifications

  • Engineeing master degree.
  • Strong knowledge in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Basic understanding of materials and electrochemistry designs and processes.
  • Ability to lead concurrent technical tasks and projects.
  • Technical project leadership skills in the automotive industry.
  • Fluent in technical written and spoken English and Italian, French will be advantages.
