Who you are

We are looking for a Customer Relations Team Assistant who meets the following requirements:

  • Experience in Customer Relations.
  • Enthusiasm about driving business growth and contributing to IKEA's overall success by providing an excellent, omnichannel customer experience across all touchpoints.
  • Strong customer orientation and teamwork.
  • Ability to know how to interface with external stakeholders and know how to involve other functions to create an action plan to continuously improve the customer experience.
  • Ability to problem solve and manage processes according to priorities.
  • Digital mindset and ability to identify and implement improvements by listening to the customer's voice.
  • Computer skills (Office package) and excellent propensity to approach and use new digital tools.
  • Good knowledge of the Italian & English language.

Your responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a lasting relationship with new and existing customers in a multichannel retail environment. Collaborate with all functions to contribute to growth.
  • Ensure that the Checkout, Exchange and Family friendly services are fast and efficient for customers, and at the same time costeffective for the IKEA store.
  • Ensure the store is always in shape as new and the shopping tools (physical and digital) are in place to offer a seamless customer experience throughout the store.
  • Support Customer Relations coworkers to help customers with the necessary skills and confidence. Achieve this goal in a simple and effective way.
  • Make sure customers leave the store with a positive impression of IKEA and a desire to come back.
  • Work to follow policies & guidelines and commit to achieving agreed goals.
  • Actively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in the commercial sphere and beyond, to ensure a positive and smooth customer experience.
