Accounts Payable Specialist

Reporting to:
Finance Manager


Location:
Breganze (VI)

The Accounts Payable Specialist is an integral member of the Accounting team.

This team member will work closely with the Manager of Accounting, Tax Specialist and Shared Service Operations to maintain the Company's financial statements, execute a variety of accounting functions and assist with reporting, analysis and special projects.

This position will frequently work directly with the leaders of other functions and suppliers.


What You Will Do:


  • Booking of invoices received from suppliers in the accounting system of the Company
  • Monitor payables lifecycle from time of invoice receipt to time of payment for a multisubsidiary and multicurrency company, ensuring accurate general ledger coding and timely response to vendor and internal inquiries
  • Possess strong customer service with internal and external parties
  • Support invoicing and payables best practices including contract review, general ledger review, account variation analysis, vendor management and initiation of corrective actions as needed
  • Compile reporting and ensure that all vendors are registered with proper information
  • Identify, communicate, and drive opportunities for continued process improvement and efficiency to create quality, repeatable best practices for the department.
  • Perform monthend activities including statement reconciliation and journal entries while maintaining a continual accounting mindset to ensure timely processing of financial transactions throughout the month
  • Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP and the financial goals of the organization
  • Complete special projects as requested by management

What You Will Bring:


  • 4+ years of financial accounting experience
  • Educational Background in Accounting
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook and Teams

A Plus If You Have:


  • Experience with SAP is a plus
