Primary duties of this position are:
Cooperate for Continuous Improvements Program, inside the Operational Excellence team to achieve short, medium and long - term targets according to the Company Objectives, in detail:

  • Observe value stream waste, coach and drive Lean principle and methodologies for waste removal.
  • Coach, deploy and learn Lean principles in the manufacturing environment.
  • Establish work measurement programs and analyze work samples to develop labor utilization standards.
  • Discuss with engineering staff and management to plan and suggest.
  • Educate and coach company personnel on Lean concepts, tools and methods.
  • Sort and guide Lean teams to achieve results and meet project goals.
  • Audit regular lean activities.
  • Define and allocate necessary resources.
  • Develop collective lean tool box and assure instruments and available to lean project participants.
  • Develop standard work to document common lean activities.
  • Function as technical support in execution activities.
  • Support departments to execute Lean processes
Identify and share best practices across the Corcym organization.


Availability to drive the assigned projects and being responsible for the achievement of operational and financial results, monitoring the costs, time, resources budget, requirements and deadlines of the project.


Work closely with peers of Manufacturing Engineering team, Production Managers and other Departments (R&D, Quality and Regulatory) in order to meet the assigned goals.

The following knowledges are necessary, listed in order of importance:

  • Good knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles,
  • Good knowledge of Six Sigma principles,
  • Good technical knowledge in manufacturing processes,
  • Good knowledge in SPC, route causes analysis and problem solving techniques,
  • Good knowledge of validation and verification techniques,
  • Good knowledge of common software (Microsoft Office), knowledge of Minitab/Statgraphic is a plus,
  • Good management of financial data and manufacturing KPI,
  • Good knowledge of written and spoken English is mandatory
  • Driving license

The following soft skills are necessaries:

  • Focused to results achievement,
  • Empathy, competence in communication and engaging people acting as enabler,
  • Able to foster teamwork and collaboration inside and outside the teams,
  • Analytical Aptitude.

Education:

University Degree or High School Diploma in Engineering or other technical discipline, with proven expertise in the concerned fields.

Six Sigma Green Belt certification is required, Black Belt certification is a plus.


At least 2 years of experience facing problematics related to Manufacturing technologies and Continous Improvement, experience in Medical device manufacturing or pharma is not mandatory, but it is considered a plus.
