Andrea Campisi

I'm Andrea (he/him), a software engineer currently living and working in Bologna, Italy.

I'm currently working in an Autonomous Driving team, and my focus is on Computer Vision systems (used mainly to perform visual perception).

I've been working for 5 years as engineer, specialized in computer vision systems.

In my first workplace I've developed several applications: a photometric stereo system; a benchmark for SLAM algorithms; a remote video assistance system (based on WEBRTC); a laserscanner system capable to perform volumetric computations (in which the main algorithm was designed from scratch).

Currently I'm working in an autonomous driving team, with main focus on computer vision systems and visual perception.

Capable of using C, C++ and Python as main languages, I'm currently studying C++ 20 (in my spare time)

I have a bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering (focused in mechanics, electronics and dynamics of fluids) got at the University of Catania, and a Master Degree in Automation Engineering got in Bologna.
