Salve,

vi scrivo in quanto ho notato che la vostra proposta lavorativa può rispettare la mia ricerca ed il mio desiderio di crescere in un ruolo per cui ambisco.

Vorrei potermi presentare brevemente.

Mi chiamo Carlos Alberto Mariani, attualmente vivo a Torino ma spero in poco tempo di tornare nelle terre dove sono cresciuto e dove ho vissuto le esperienze migliori della mia vita, in centro Italia. Ho valutato diverse posizioni lavorative in questo mese e la vostra mi è sembrata più in linea con le mie attitudini professionali. Desidero iniziare una carriera di project manager al fine di diventare un project manager certificato PMP nei prossimi tre anni. Il valore aggiunto che sento di poter offrire all’azienda è una forte determinazione, passione e professionalità nel lavoro che faccio.

Il ruolo di project manager richiede delle soft skill che ho cercato sempre di migliorare durante la mia carriera professionale. Come la comunicazione, la gestione del tempo, una miglior gestione del lavoro personale è una corretta definizioni delle priorità. I mie punti di forza sono la pazienza è la determinazione.

Un traguardo professionale che ho raggiunto è stato quello di essermi guadagnato un ruolo all’interno di un contesto tecnico completamente differente dal mio background accademico e professionale. Questo mi ha dimostrato che attraverso una mentalità aperta nei confronti della novità e una mirata organizzazione e focus si possono raggiungere nel lungo periodo risultati evidenti.

Italdesign – Giugiaro S.p.A., Turin_____________________2018-present
Infotainment and Connected Car Test Engineer (December 2020 - present):
Testing E2E Service Oriented Architecture and experimenting V2X technologies. Working with international team of managers, engineers and researchers to work with future mobility concept. Using tools for tracing and logging the infotainment systems and to test their connectivity with the backend. Working with technical aspects related to Network topology of the ECUs in vehicle, Infotainment ECU, Connectivity ECU and Gateway communication. During the project Agile method has been used following SCRUM and Kanban methodologies. Jira and Confluence were used in the daily work.

Diesel Engine Calibration Engineer (November 2018 – December 2020):
Engine Calibration activity performed by carrying out road and track test in vehicle and post-processing analysis. Experimental activities of validation and analysis of the DPF component, focused on the study of soot load behaviour during different driving profile and test condition. As experimental activity it has been followed the approach of the continuous improvement of the process. During all the activities it was important the collaboration between different departments and the workshop. Following a customer-oriented approach, tests were performed on turbocharger protection, full load curve, engine out soot emission measurement and general performance tests. Software and hardware used: ETAS module 891, 410, 591, ETAS Driver Recorder 820, AVL Opacimeter, Diagra Software, Concerto AVL software, MDA and INCA to acquire measurement, BOSCH manual ECU, EHANDBOOK –NAVIGATOR INCA .

2nd level Specializing Master, Energy Management for Automotive Powertrains:
Application of Internal combustion engine and hybrid system were analysed, then engine calibration, legislation framework and after treatment system were studied. The strength of this experience was the collaboration with the University (Politecnico di Torino) and the company Italdesign-Giugiaro S.p.A. I had the chance to put in practice what I learned at the University. Thanks to this experience I had the possibility to participate at the SIA Powertrain & Energy Conference in Paris in June 2019.

 Thesis Title: “Experimental activity on particulate filter and validation of soot load models” (Software used: ETAS Software INCA, MDA, Concerto AVL, Diagra)

Master’s degree in Automotive engineering, Powertrain-FINAL GRADE 103/110
During the course of studies, scientific subjects were supported in the field of vehicle mechanics, especially the second year of master's degree was focused in the study of the engine design, engine simulation, combustion systems, hybrid systems and various architectures of hybrid vehicles. Main courses: Aerodynamic, Electric system in vehicles, Engine and emission control, Automotive Internal Combustion Engines, Vehicle Mechanics, and Design engine and control system.

 Thesis Title: “One-dimensional model of a range extender with high power density and deep Miller cycle developed with Ricardo WAVE software” (Software used: RICARDO WAVE)
