Chiara Saffioti

My name is Chiara and I'm a final year student running Communication Sciences at Insubria University in Italy. I spent two semesters abroad studying in Lisbon in 2022 and in Madrid in 2023. I also spent one year in Los Angeles, where I moved alone to work and learn the language' 

Highly motivated, professional, and work effectively as part of a team. Excellent at managing relationships with others and at expressing myself clearly. Very good in researching and writing of wide range of topics. Interested in Social Media and Fashion industry. Traveling by myself and working since when I was 16 years old made me very independent and flexible. 

Looking for a stimulating and free minded environment to work in.  

I've worked in fashion showrooms helping the main seller with the clients and I really enjoyed this experience in which I could have direct contact with them. Other than that, I managed several social networks for companies and brands, which gave me the confidence of taking decisions independently and being in contact with the clients and understand their needs.

I’ve overseen organizing photoshoots and videos for several brands or private projects. I was in charge of recruiting make up artists, photographers, videographers, stylists and finding the location for the shoot. Other than that, I was participating in the session working as the model of the shoot. I had the chance to work in this field in the US, when I was living in Los Angeles, in Madrid, in Lisbon and in my hometown Milan. 

I also worked as an intern in an accounting office and in the communication department of Lainate city Hall. 

I studied Communication sciences in Italy but I always understood the importance of traveling and learning new languages. I had an exchange semester in Lisbon, where I focused on Public Relations and Journalism and another semester abroad in Madrid, running Advertising and Marketing.

I also spent one year in the US where I studied English as a second language at Santa Monica College.
