Informazioni su Christian Forlani:
After over ten years of activities as a researcher and contract professor at
the Bioengineering Department of the Politecnico di Milano, University,
and three years of activity as a consultant, in 2011 I joined Flex Medical
Design Center as System Architect. Here, I built up competence through
a growing experience in R&D contributing to the concept design of
medical devices. Since the start, I have been engaged in the concept
feasibility and characterization process where I expanded my
competence in medical device development for mass production.
During my career, I gained experience in developing several medical
devices, such as pen injectors, auto-injectors, glucose meters, and
continuous glucose meters (CGM), either as durable or disposable
devices. I’ve been involved in all the different phases of the design
process of medical devices: from sketch to scale. As a technical leader,
my main activities are managing, planning, organizing project activities,
and managing project schedules together with Project Managers, while
keeping strong relationships with customers and project stakeholders. I
am used to focusing my attention and effort to match the customer’s
expectations, requirements, and project milestones, foreseeing and
correcting, as soon as possible, any potential issues while mitigating risks.
I’m also involved in business activity, and I am experienced in preparing
and supporting requests for proposals, requests for quotations, and
performing new customers’ assessment. Furthermore, I am used to
working under pressure and in challenging contexts. I am passionate
about technology, and I am always eager to grow my experience and
know-how.
