Enrico Palmieri

I am very passionate about food, people and experiences. I love meeting new people from different walks of life whom I can learn different things from. I am charismatic, friendly and approachable. I am a very hard worker and a very good problem solver who relishes a challenge. I come from a hard working Italian family who moved to Cape Town, South Africa and grew up working in restaurants all my life. I love music and sports, mostly football and going out with friends. I have very good people and communication skills and love entertaining crowds and public speaking. I tend to gravitate towards leadership positions and love working in teams. I am also very pragmatic and have good problem solving skills. Growing up in restaurants means that i have experience working in high pressure situations and dealing with responsibilities.

I grew up working in restaurants all my life. From the kitchen, bar and even the admin departments. While studying, I did part time sales work for a Distribution company that supplied restaurants with food stuffs. I then later became that very same company's junior Dispatch manager, over seeing all the dispatch and logistic operations. I then took over as general manager of my families restaurant, where I currently work and over see all operations of the restaurant.

I have a Bachelors of Commerce in Financial Accounting, majoring in financial and management accounting. This has allowed me to broaden my business and commerce knowledge which is essential when running an actual business.
