Enrico Riccardi

I am an engineer with 25 years of experience of which 15 in Information Security (IS). In these years I took my company (a 3 billion multinational company with over 7000 employees) from almost no security procedures to obtain the ISO 27001:2022 certification.

My role consists in defining the IS strategy, leading the IS committee, reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Committee and the Board of Auditors, implementing and maintaining the IS Management System, defining the cyber security standards for all the group, and increasing awareness about IS with training and phishing campaigns.

I like to improve the current processes and IS is a good topic because you have to evolve constantly.

I have been working for Chiesi Farmaceutici since 2003 with different roles inside Global ICT. Starting as a DB and Backup Administrator (1 year), then IT Development Analyst (2 years), then HR Area IT manager (5 years) and finally Head of ICT Security (from 2012) & CISO (from 2018).

Previously I also worked 4 years as a DB and Backup Administrator for DS Data Systems, a software house.

In 1998 I graduated in Electronic Engineering at the “Università degli Studi di Parma” University. (Master's degree / 5 years)
