Esperienza

Head of Compliance and Anti Money Laundering of the Italian Branch of a Bank

Assessment and management of compliance risk in the following areas: anti-money laundering, MiFID II, administrative liability of the Bodies pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/2001, market abuse, GDPR Data Protection, Transparency, Fraud, FATCA & CRS tax regulations.
Definition and implementation of the compliance procedures applicable to the branch
Definition, implementation and monitoring of the Organizational Model, built on the provisions of Legislative Decree 231/2001. Secretary function in the Supervisory Body.
Implementation of an annual compliance risk assessment evaluating the residual compliance risk.
Definition and implementation of a Compliance control plan (second level controls)
Implementation of policies and procedures issued by the Parent Company, with adaptation to Italian peculiarities.
Management of relations with local Supervisory Authorities (Bank of Italy and Consob) also through the preparation of periodic reports.
Claims management
Periodic training for all employees on Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering issues (i.e. conflicts of interest, personal transactions, KYC and CDD, anti-corruption, code of ethics, privacy)
