Foremost I want to be useful and have a good, open, communicative relationship with whomever I am working with.  My ambition for anyone I am working for is to deliver better organisation, efficiency and joy.

In the past, the roles I have enjoyed the most are fast paced, busy and require me to be conscientious, unflappable and discrete.  My greatest skill is that I can absorb any situation no matter how difficult or seemingly impossible it is and calmly, judiciously solve it.  

Whilst the larger part of my experience has been in Production and Entertainment; notorious industries for tough characters and impossible deadlines!  I have also worked in the Finance sector, start ups, not to mention large corporations like The UN and Ernst &Young.  

What unites all the roles has been their requirement for my commitment, dynamism and alacrity.    At Working Title Films I worked across different timezones, juggling multiple calendars, business and personal affairs which demanded constant assessment and prioritisation.  A degree of event organisation whether that be for a spouses birthday, film premiere or annual company party was not uncommon in my role.  

 

Esperienza

RETREAT CO-ORDINATOR, TENUTA DI MONTEVERDI – 10.2022 – present

  • Hosting and facilitating retreats in Tuscany, ranging from cooking, yoga, to deep transformational programmes.  These experiences taught me to listen to a space, thinking ahead as to what was needed emotionally and practically to deliver the best programme for the participants. 
  • Writing copy and marketing retreats on social media.  Creating a promotional schedule to generate interest in the retreats, including IG Lives, Free Workshops etc. 
  • Managing budget and finances, learning how to stay on budget and deliver a beautiful experience for the attendees.

  • Production Assistant on; The Snowman, Baby Driver, Grimsby, The Danish Girl, We Are Your Friends, Legend, Everest & The Theory of Everything.
  • Orchestrating a hugely busy and complicated diary both professionally and personally.
  • Coordinating between Development, Production, Legal and Finance teams.
  • Arranging all aspects of travel, visas, private jets and hotels. Organizing and hosting Eric’s work and private events e.g. BAFTA brunch, Premieres and Tastemaker Screenings.

  • Presently assisting in the production of a series of short films for UNICEF UK.
  • Working as an Executive Assistant for two directors, organizing all travel, diary & expenses.
  • Assisting in all areas of the business from researching, scriptwriting and casting. 
  • Acting as a production coordinator on all shoots both home and abroad. 
  • Developing and delivering pitches for new business.

CREATIVE ARTIST AGENCY, 02.2011 – 12.2013

LONDON, Hammersmith

Assistant Agent

  • Accountable for looking after all live performances of 30 + musicians on our roster globally.
  • Acting as an emissary between managers, record labels, festivals and private clients to best represent our artist’s interests. 
  • Negotiated deals and composed contracts for all artists on our roster, working with international clients from Moscow, Sydney and Mexico.
  • Creative and Business Development for breaking acts. Co-coordinating campaigns by booking print press and communicating directly with radio, magazines and newspapers to promote shows.  Helped launch Ben Howard’s career with carefully planned marketing strategies, band partnerships and targeted live performances. 
  • Inherited a roster that had become homogenous and faced the challenge of diversifying it.  We built the credibility of our roster by signing 4 acts, diversifying our roster and engaging a younger audience. 
  • Spent time in the LA office building relationships and strengthening my communications channels between the US and UK music scenes. 

ERNST & YOUNG, 10.2007 – 06.2008

LONDON, London Bridge

Internship

  • Winner of Profitunity2008 with ‘State of the Art.’ Profitunity is a national competition with teams   competing to create the most sustainable and profitable business, raising money for the Prince’s Trust. Team raised over £24,ooo for the Prince’s Trust, which broke all previous records.  
  • Project Managed both the art auction/competition and music concert in London. 
  • Personally raised £5000 in sponsorship money.

UNITED NATIONS, 07.2007 – 09.2008

NEW YORK, Manhattan

Internship

  • Managed and updated Non Governmental Organizations online files.  Researched and wrote about NGOs for United Nations case studies. 
  • Evaluated those NGOs that were looking for consultative status with the UN.  This involved communicating with the various NGOs and rigorously analyzing all the applications to make sure they contained all the information necessary.
