Giulia Gennari

Sono Giulia Gennari, ho 22 anni e sono nata in Puglia. Ho vissuto 4 anni a Milano. Mi sono formata all'Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore dove ho conseguito la laurea in Economia e Gestione Aziendale. Mi sono laureata a Novembre 2022 e ho iniziato un corso in social Media Marketing all'Università Luigi Bocconi. A fine Gennaio 2023, ho iniziato a frequentare il Master in Fashion Buying & Merchandiser, all'Istituto Marangoni, terminando in questo mese di settembre. Durante questo tempo ho comunque lavorato, cercando di sviluppare maggiori competenze ampliando le mie conoscenze ed esperienze nell'ambito della moda. Ora, cerco esperienza di uno stage ma sono disponibile anche ad un lavoro part-time o full-time. 

Buyer Assistant for China Shop - Department store in Paraguay (May 2023 - July 2023)
I worked as a buyer assistant purchasing as clients from companies such as Luxottica and Safilo on July 2023, in Milan and also with the Kering and Thelios luxury eyewear groups on May 2023, in Rome.
I was in charge of choosing pieces from the new collections based on the customs of Paraguay's culture. It was interesting to understand the tastes of a consumer with a culture different from the European one.
It was fascinating to find the right compromise that could balance the right amount of products with the client's budget.

I helped to dress the models during the double shows (the first one for the Buyer and the second for the influencer). Problem solving on unexpected events.

I attended the Universitay Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Business Management. After my graduating I attended a Social Media Marketing Course at Luigi Bocconi University, in November. I started a master's degree in fashion buying and merchandising at the Marangoni institute, in January.
