• Focusing research on flood hazard evaluation in the Attica region at the National Technical University of Athens.  Work involves field surveys, developing 1D and 2D hydraulic models, assisting students, and presenting research findings.  

• Serving as a key team member at EMVIS S.A. Consultant Engineers, responsibilities include numerical modeling, data analysis, project coordination, reporting, and outreach. Particularly experience with 1D/2D/3D hydrodynamic and water quality modeling of coastal and river systems.

• Led a research study at the University of Ljubljana evaluating reanalysis datasets for hydrological modeling. Analyzed the suitability of reanalysis data for modeling ungauged basins and authored a journal manuscript on the findings.

• Refined the 3D hydrodynamic and water quality model of the Aegean Sea as a project intern at Deltares. Improved the model resolution and grid approach to better simulate hydrodynamics, dispersion and connectivity to inform environmental management.

In summary, the experience highlights expertise in hydraulic modeling, data analysis, environmental consulting, and applied research spanning projects at universities and consulting firms.

• Pursuing a PhD in Civil Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, with a focus on research related to flood hazard evaluation.

• Earned an MSc in Water Science and Engineering from UNESCO IHE Delft, providing advanced training in water-related modeling, analysis and management.  

• Obtained an MEng in Environmental Engineering from the Technical University of Crete, providing a foundation in engineering principles and applications to environmental issues.
