With over 20 years of experience in the field of Translation and Localization services and multilingual documentation production, I believe I bring a strong background and expertise to assist your Organization in your translation/localization/editing activities.

After 5 years exclusively dedicated to Translation, I have widened my activity to meet my Clients’ growing demand for localization and translation services in language pairs other than mine for multilingual projects implying big volumes and short time frames, coordinating up to 20 Translators for as many languages.

In particular, I have extensively focused on Project Management, from planning through to delivery.

Coming from a solid experience as a Translator, I have first honed my writing and editing skills, and soon felt the urge to take care of the Communication and Marketing needs of my business, dealing with internal and external relations with both Vendors and Clients.

In particular, developing training materials and guidelines for documents style and layout, I have learned how to ensure consistency across all deliverables and to translate technical and complex communications to a varied audience in a simple and concise way.

What is more, working closely with the marketing division of my Clients, I was involved in the realization of online advertising campaigns, familiarizing with both graphics / advertising tools and social medias.
All of this finally went on to prove crucial in developing and implementing communication strategies for reaching outsourcers and stakeholders alike, thus enabling me to communicate among different roles and build effective working relationships.

Graduated with honors in Translation and Interpreting in 2001, I immediately started working as a freelance Translator between English, French and Italian.

Passionate about linguistics and language technology, I have subsequently obtained a Master of Arts in Technical Translation with full marks, and a Master in Software Localization, where I was introduced to both Computer-Assisted Translation and Terminology management systems, which I use extensively in my daily activities, continuously investing and keeping abreast of new releases.

Involved in legal translation projects as soon as I became chartered as Sworn Translator - Interpreter at the Civil and Criminal Courts of Rome, I have since found this particularly challenging, and it allowed me to deepen knowledge in the areas of law by first obtaining a Master in Legal Translation, and then enrolling in a degree program in European Studies and International Relations.
