Matteo Tragella

A driven financial analyst with two years of experience in the banking industry for the Group BNP Paribas.

My main academic accomplishments concern the activity of analysis and statistical modelling: I am able to generate estimates and forecasting models.

My expertise includes communicative and organizational capabilities, the adaptation to operate in diverse dynamic contexts, problem-solving and critical thinking.

I am inherently results-oriented.

My interests regard technology, engaging in sports, playing strategy games, and travelling.

I'm currently in my role as Credit Analyst at Ifitalia (a Factoring division of BNP Paribas): in particular, I am in charge of evaluating the economic performance of companies, by closely examining their financial trends and analyzing reports, in order to determine whether to set up, maintain or cease transactions.
I previously worked also in market analysis field, during my univeristy years, learning how to identify products and customers.
To conclude, I was involved in a collaborative university project with BNL (Group BNP Paribas): this experience allowed me to work alongside professionals and applying my academic knowledge to real-world scenarios.

My first achievement was a Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Pavia in Management, where I gained a solid foundation in the economic field. Building on this, I completed a Master’s Degree entirely in English in Economics, Finance, and International Integration, achieving the highest grade of 110L, where i developed the activity of analysis and statistical modelling.
My master’s dissertation, titled “Generic Demand and Reference Pricing: an Empirical Analysis,” focused on the relationship between consumer behavior, estimates and forecasting models.
I am currently taking an English course to improve my communication skills, and I am starting to learn French as well.
