Esperienza

Civil and Environmental Engineer with over 9+ years of progressive experience in environmental engineering, infrastructure development, energy efficiency, and donor-funded project management. Currently working as an Environment & Social Specialist (Consultant) for IDCOL, supporting energy efficiency investments in Bangladesh’s RMG sector under GCF-aligned financing frameworks. Strong expertise in EIA/ESIA, MRV systems, environmental compliance, and institutional capacity building.

Previously served as Project Development & Implementation Lead at Young Consultants, leading feasibility studies, EIAs, donor proposals (World Bank, ADB, EU, GIZ, JICA), and multi-stakeholder coordination for large-scale public and private sector projects. Earlier roles include Grant Officer (Technical & ESQ) for the World Bank–supported Export Readiness Fund, overseeing construction quality, environmental and fire safety compliance, and monitoring infrastructure investments across multiple industrial sectors.

Extensive hands-on experience as Project Engineer and Senior Environmental Officer, delivering EIAs for power plants, LNG terminals, economic zones, ports, transport infrastructure, and water & sanitation projects, in compliance with World Bank, IFC, ADB, and national regulations. Also has academic experience as a Lecturer in Civil Engineering.

Demonstrated strengths include project planning, environmental impact assessment, infrastructure feasibility studies, stakeholder engagement, technical reporting, GIS/survey coordination, and leadership of multidisciplinary teams, with a strong track record in climate, energy, and sustainable infrastructure projects.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology (CUET), Bangladesh, which I completed in 2017 with a CGPA of 3.28/4.00. During my undergraduate studies, I developed a strong foundation in civil and environmental engineering, infrastructure systems, and water resources. My undergraduate thesis, “Surface Water Drainage of Roadways Using the Concept of Permeable Pavement”, focused on sustainable drainage and urban water management.

I am currently a Master’s student in Transport Systems Engineering at Sapienza University of Rome, Italy, where my studies focus on transportation planning, traffic engineering, sustainable mobility, and advanced transport system analysis.
