 Microbiology:
• Cultivation and passage of bacteria.
• Isolation and detection of pathogenic bacteria.
• Performing various biochemical tests to detect bacterial strain.
• Different types of microbiological staining.
 Immunology:
• Elisa,
• western blot,
• Agglutination tests,
• Enzyme immunoassays,
• Precipitation tests.
General housekeeping of the laboratories
• Maintaining laboratory cleanliness to high standards.
• Glassware washing and stocking to ensure a timely turnaround and availability.
• Making and maintaining stocks of laboratory essentials, i.e. buffers, media for DNA and protein cultures, agar plates, SDS-PAGE gels etc.
• Taking care of chemical and non-chemical deliveries and waste streams.
• Management of the waste disposal process via approved contractors.
• Stock control and ordering of laboratory consumables.
• Regular calibration checks of ancillary laboratory equipment.
