Hello there,

I am currently providing maternity cover for the NGO, Marine Stewardship Council in London, as their Training & Capacity Building Manager. It is a thoroughly rewarding role working with the bright minds of marine science helping them plan, create, and deliver their training courses to stakeholders across the globe, offering guidance to bring order to brilliant ideas. I am also in the process of leading their training strategy for 2023, assisting in the scale-up of their current program, as well as implementing QMS templates within the Quality Assurance team.

The role allows me to build on my experience of learning & development, project management, strategy, coaching, framework building, course and workshop creation/delivery, stakeholder engagement, and many other aspects pertaining to learning, content and curricula. I also have extensive experience with various LMS and authoring tools including expert use in Learn Upon and Articulate Storyline.

I have built up my experience over the years across the globe starting in finance in Australia and the UK, then evolving slightly when I moved to Italy to move into professional language coaching/training & L&D/full learning cycle/workshops/etc. Now, I work hybridly in London (maintaining residence in Italy). This certainly provides me with a deeper understanding of how different cultures work and the barriers that may be in place as we engage across borders. I am a native English speaker and with a B2-C1 level in Italian.

Sadly, my contract with the MSC should finish towards the end of February 2023. I was brought in at the last minute as maternity cover for the role of Training Manager with little onboarding, so I’m used to hitting the ground running. It has been a wonderful opportunity but, as the original colleague is returning, I now look forward to finding my next fantastic challenge.
