    Investment Controller – Real Estate Portfolio (Italy)

    Our client is a venture capital firm focused on investing in companies building the future of Bitcoin infrastructure, financial technology, and digital asset ecosystems. The firm partners with ambitious founders and teams developing innovative technologies that strengthen the Bitcoin network and enable new financial applications.

    Alongside its venture investments, they manage a portfolio of strategic assets and real estate investments, supporting long-term value creation across its investment activities. With a hands-on and entrepreneurial approach, the firm works closely with founders, operators, and partners to scale businesses and build sustainable investment platforms.

    As our investment activities continue to expand, we are looking for an Investment Controller (Manager level) to support financial oversight, operational decision-making, and data-driven portfolio management.

    The position will primarily support the real estate portfolio, working closely with investors and senior decision makers to provide timely financial insights and maintain strong financial control across the properties.

    The role can be based in Turin, where the company maintains an office, and will involve regular interaction with teams and partners across Northern Italy and Tuscany.

    What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities):

    Financial Controlling & Cash Flow Management

    • Establish and maintain financial controlling processes across the property portfolio

    • Monitor and analyze cash flows, including revenue, operating costs, OPEX, CAPEX, liquidity gaps, and financial forecasts

    • Provide P&L analysis and optimization insights to support operational and investment decisions

    Portfolio Data Consolidation & Reporting

    • Aggregate financial and operational data across 3–6 real estate properties

    • Provide near real-time financial insights to investors and owners to support decision-making

    • Prepare clear financial dashboards and reports to support stakeholders who often operate with limited decision windows

    Financial Planning & Business Analytics

    • Develop forecasting models and financial scenarios to support investment and operational planning

    • Identify opportunities to improve financial performance and operational efficiency across the portfolio

    Banking & Financial Relationships

    • Manage relationships with banking partners and financing institutions

    • Support discussions related to financing structures, liquidity planning, and financial operations

    Accounting Coordination & Compliance

    • Coordinate with external (Italian) tax accountants on statutory accounting and tax matters

    • Ensure accurate financial data and reporting across the portfolio

    Business Analytics & Systems Development

    • Support the development of in-house business analytics software

    • Define product requirements and financial data structures to enable automation of reporting, analytics, and portfolio monitoring

    • Contribute to building systems that allow automated consolidation and financial insights across the portfolio

    What We're Looking For (Qualifications)

    • Experience in controlling, financial planning, or business finance roles

    • Strong understanding of cash flow management, financial forecasting, and P&L analysis

    • Experience working with real estate assets, investment portfolios, or operating businesses

    • Ability to structure and analyze financial data across multiple assets or entities

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset

    • Comfortable working in a fast-moving investment environment

    Languages:

    • Italian (native or fluent)

    • English (professional working proficiency)

    Location:

    • Turin preferred, with activities across Northern Italy and Tuscany

    Nice to Have (Preferred Qualifications):

    • Experience in real estate investment, venture capital, or private investment environments

    • Exposure to business intelligence tools or financial data analytics

    • Experience working with financial systems, dashboards, or reporting automation


    The role is onsite in Torino, and the annual salary offered is 60k Euros.
