    A global company specializing in investing into renewable energy projects are working in close partnership with GRS Recruitment to hire a Director for their Cyprus operations. The company is operating in multiple Europe countries and throughout their presence they have developed an impressive portfolio of solar energy projects with total capacity of over 300 MW. If you are looking to get into an innovative company and grow your career in a directorship level position, GRS looks forward to receiving your CV today. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Set-up and management of the team
  • Lead the processes of construction of PV parks and other renewable energy projects in Cyprus.
  • Lead the processes for construction of waste processing plants in Cyprus.
  • Have in-depth knowledge and keep up to date with renewable energy technologies.
  • Review deliverables to ensure all deliverables comply with quality and quantity as per requirements and specifications, as well as current Cypriot/European laws and regulations for projects of this size and type.
  • Coordinate and consultant on all related matters
    • CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Holder of University degree in Civil Engineering or in any relevant field
  • Member of Council for the Registration and Control of Contractors, as well as of the Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber (ETEK).
  • Previous experience in leading positions
  • Knowledge of Local Administration procedures in Design, Pre-Construction (i.e., Permits and Licenses), Construction and Post-Construction phases of PV parks, renewable energy plants, waste processing plants.
  • Solid working knowledge of Engineering Software and Project Management Software
  • Open attitude and willingness to take on other tasks such as responsibility for supervision of structural design team.
  • Willing to be part of a team.

  • Effective communicator
  • Fluency in Greek and English, both written and verbal. Fluency in any other languages will be considered an advantage.
