Qualifications and Requirements
a) Evidence of experience in conducting independent research and a track record of peer-reviewed publications in high-impact international scientific journals;
b) Evidence of high quality teaching and student supervision;
c) ability to supervise doctoral students and support early-stage researchers
d) evidence of ability to secure research funding at departmental or university level
e) evidence of consolidated experience of working with international scholars
and of being active in widely recognized scholarly societies
f) proficiency in written and spoken English.

About the Department

The Department of Economics and Management of the University of Padua was founded in 1989. It counts over 2000 students and more than 75 faculty members who conduct research in the field of economics and management.
In 2023 the dSEA obtained the EQUIS accreditation.

Since 2012, the 'Grande Guida'university guide has ranked the Department among the top three institutions in Italy in terms of teaching quality in economics and statistics.

The Department ranks fourth in terms of research quality and productivity. Out of 850 universities evaluated, our department is also at the top of the international U-Multirank ranking. Teaching is mainly in English at the Masters and PhD levels. More information is available on the website.
