We are a growing team looking for an Account Payable Specialist to help us on our journey to revolutionise road freight logistics.

You would join our Finance Team, based out of the Milan office and will report to the Head of Administration & Finance.

This job position is open to persons registered in the list of protected categories pursuant to Law 68/99.

About The Role


As an Account Payable Specialist you'll work on interesting responsibilities like taking responsibility for the continuous improvement, management and coordination of all accounts payable processes.


IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

  • Onboard carriers to our AP process;
  • Manage reconciliation of transport services with carrier and Operation department;
  • Keep track of all payments and expenditures, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, verify and reconcile invoices;
  • Support the improvements of accounting\\invoicing processes;
  • Support the team with reports and accounting;
  • Acts as a liaison to management and operations to resolve issues and manage daily workflow and deadlines;
  • Perform invoices analysis, supporting payments activities.

PREFERABLY YOU HAVE

  • 2 years of work experience in similar position;
  • Solid understanding of AP processes and basic accounting principles;
  • Communication skills;
  • Analytical thinking and a structured work (organizing, prioritizing, attention to details and accuracy);
  • Problemsolving skills;
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with multiple parties;
  • Advanced computer skills on MS Office (Excel. Power Point), ERP systems (SAP), and databases;
  • Fluent Italian and English are required.
